There are tons of Internet business models on the Internet today. However people have this false idea that blogging is something that is done by bored and confused teenagers with nothing better to do with their lives.
This is far from the truth. In fact, there are lots of millionaires out there who has made tons of money from blogging!
The reason why blogging is one of the most profitable business models in the world is because it is a low cost, high profit kind of business that does not require a lot of maintenance. You don’t need to take care of staff – all you need to do is outsource the blogging to someone else and pay them once every month!
Many people also think that it is too late to make money with their blog. It isn’t too late… in fact, it’s way too early! The majority of people in the world today aren’t even involved in some sort of online publishing model. So if you have just started a blog, think of all the people you are way ahead of.
People are turning to blogging because of the amount of traffic they can get to their blogs. Blogging is quite compatible with search engine marketing. Your blog posts can appear easily on the Internet without doing too much search engine optimization (SEO work).
Another good benefit of blogging is that people trusts blogs. Blogging gives a marketer a personal touch that can easily relate with other people. When you know how to write good web copy, you can combine it with blogging and make lots of money by selling your own products or by promoting other people’s affiliate products.
You can even ‘rent’ your blog as a place to sell advertising space.
Blogging has made lots of people free from their 9-5 jobs. Gone are the days of blogging for one to two years only to expect very little in return. There are lots of ways to make money quickly using third party advertising networks that will bring all the customers straight to you (for a cut of the commissions of course).
Lastly, it is a business model that someone can work on completely without leaving their house. They can do it all at home without driving out of their house – hence you get to save a lot of money on make up, nice clothes and gas mileage.
